Happy holidays...

Phew... Finally, completed my report and packed our luggage for Taipei trip tomorrow.

Despite the mad rush to complete my report, this festive season is particulary enjoyable mainly because it's a stretch of 13.5 days without work. All these years of working, I've never had any leave balance at the end of the year. It's wonderful to clear a stretch of leave to be home yet taking some days for a vacation. Hmm... looks like I must scrimp and save my leave for a looong year end break in 2008 :)

Setting up our very 1st christmas tree at home adds to the fun of christmas. The mood at home is liven with Ann's presence, her 1st christmas with us too... Nice to watch her crawling around trying to grab the ornaments on the christmas tree and bitting the wrappers of her christmas presents *yucks*...

It was nice to have Mel and the Pan family over for gathering. Thanks to Wei, we had a scrumptious dinner. A meal I would probably not thought of putting together cos it's pretty 'ang moh' with a 3kg honey baked ham & cranberry sauce, sauerkraut, steam vegetables, cheese and wine. I would probably think along the line of what Edwin suggested, Bak Chor Mee from railway mall *slurp slurp*, haha....

Anyway, so glad that this is just halfway through a long year-end break. The 2nd part will start tomorrow... Getting excited about our 1st vacation with Ann... Keeping our fingers crossed that she'll take the flight and new environment for the next 6 days well.
